Commercial League Champs Betty Ann Wines 1939

“The Commercial league closed books Monday night at the Recreation alleys, with Betty Ann Wines, sponsored and captained by Huss Anderson, declared champs. The team nailed the title a week ago, and won two out of three games Monday night in the finale. Left to right are: Anderson, Koneval, Cowles, Howland, Knodle and Olsen.”

The Commercial League followed the Merchants League on Monday nights at Broadway Recreation. Huss was on the championship team both shifts in 1939.
